100 Sleeps Until Christmas! $100 to Add to Your Budget!

Are you making your list and checking it twice? Or are you a wait until December 1 kind of shopper? Do you wake up early or stay out late for the best Thanksgiving and Black Friday deals? No matter what kind of holiday shopper, I bet the thought of Christmas only being 100 days away is exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.  In a couple of weeks we will be releasing our Dot's Picks Holiday Gift Guide but in the meantime I'm going to share with you how you can get $100 extra in your pocket over the next 100 days with just a few quick downloads and clicks.

We managed to grow our family from just the two of us to nearly eight of us in just under 11 years. 2015, 2016 and now 2017 each brought with them a new baby so keeping things tight and organized around the holidays has become somewhat of a obsession hobby. The following list is extensive and you can easily make more than $100 in the next 100 days, just set your goals and go for it. My goal is an extra $420 so I can spend $70 on each of my six kids.

Zulily - Have you checked out this site? Deep discounts on boutique and unique items. Each day is different and deals go fast.  How can you get items for free? You can use referral codes and make $15 every time a friend signs up. They also have an affiliate program.

Ebates - If you buy things online (or in stores), if you ever use online stores like Groupon or Fandango and you haven't started using Ebates then you are missing out on free money.  Just for signing up you get $10 then a percentage back on everything you buy. Just start any online shopping at the Ebates site and you will start to rack up rebates that are paid back every quarter. The next check date is November, just in time for Christmas.  Last year, our family received nearly $200 in Ebates alone.

ibotta - This shopping app has really stepped up its game.  Providing rebates on everything from produce and cheese to alcohol. They have even gotten into the online rebate game with rebates for orders through Box and Groupon.  I never make a trip to JoAnne Fabrics without using my ibotta app and when you refer a friend you get even more cash back.  Last year our family received nearly $250 in ibotta rewards.

Check Out 51 - This is a grocery app that I had a hard time getting started with but once I got the hang of it, its been a staple in my rotation. You claim discounts before you go shopping and afterward upload your receipt.  I haven't been using this app for as long but we've received over $30 so far. They don't have a referral program.

MobiSave - Very similar to Check Out 51 but this app actually deposits your funds directly into your paypal account every time you use it.  If you refer your friends you get $1 for each new friend using the app.

SurveysOnGO - A friend introduced me to SurveysOnGo. This is a fun app that you can use while waiting in the carpool line or anywhere you are sitting still for 3-5 minutes at a time.  Just complete super short surveys and receive cash rewards for $.10 to $10 depending on the survey.  Once you make $10 you can cash out for gift certificates.  There is not a referral program for this app.

Field Agent - Ever wonder how people make money as secret shoppers? Well, here is an app that gives you the opportunity to perform audits and mystery shops at stores where you might already be shopping. Last year our family made over $80 with this app. Field Agent does not have a referral program.

iSecretShop - This is one of my favorite apps, but it does take a little extra work.  Assignments have to be approved ahead of time and you have to agree to terms on each assignment.  I made so much money on this app last year that I had to claim it on our taxes.

Check back soon for more ways to make money before the holidays!
